Rolex Day-Date 1806 Yellow Gold Florentine Finish on Brick Bracelet

We are delighted to be offering this very rare Day-Date, reference 1806, in 18kt yellow gold with Florentine finish on the case, bezel and the brick link bracelet.

The case remains in outstanding condition with strong lugs and great definition on the finish.
The watch houses a stunning warm, almost pink-tone, champagne dial that has doorstop quarter hours at six and nine and unusual wedge markers at the other hours.

The watch also has so-called ‘cigarette boat’ boat hands, a very rare hand set that was only used in 1963/4 on Day-Dates. The brick finish - flatlink ( the most expensive, optional bracelet in that time !) bracelet, in 18kt yellow gold, also has the Florentine finish and has a non-concealed clasp, stamped “4 63” and would fit a wrist size of up to 19.5cm.
