The Rootbeer or Clint Eastwood (named after the actor who love to wear these watches) hits a little different, especially when fitted with the brown nipple dial.
This is a lovely examples and the case remains strong all round.
The dial is in excellent condition and the tritium in the hour plots and hands has taken on a dark patina. The bezel insert has faded evenly which adds even more vintage charm to this GMT-Master, with as ghost effect in the upper half and orange lower.
The two-tone Oyster bracelet 7836 is in good condition with a clasp stamped â4 71â and reference 280 endlinks. The endlinks are all steel, which was correct in that time period. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
