Rolex GMT-Master Ref 1675 Gilt Dial Pointed Crown Guard
This is a very special vintage GMT-Master that ticks quite a few of the special vintage boxes that collectors really love.
Pointed crown guards, rich gilt dial with amazing patina on the hour markers and an awesome fat font faded bezel. Even the little details like the small 24-hour hand are incredible on these watches!
This gilt dial is amazing and has yellow colored lume in good condition that is a good match with the hands including the original small GMT hand.
The term gilt dial comes from the gold-coloured text, which is actually the brass dial plate showing through the glossy finish that was printed in relief.
The 40mm steel case is in great condition with strong lugs and crown guards. The watch has a beautiful red-back fat font bezel insert that has naturally faded â the blue is quite rich still and the red has turned an orangey pink hue...its pretty epic! The Jubilee bracelet, reference 6215H, is in good condition with ref 55 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
